Instead, the DVSA has a separate document called “Hybrid, Electric and Hydrogen Fuel Cell Systems: Guidance for MOT Testers.” It’s available on GOV.UK and forms part of this year’s annual training, covering safety awareness and best practice when testing alternative fuel vehicles. This document should be your ‘go to’ for all things relating to electric or hybrid vehicles and the MOT test.
