An MOT viewing area can be situated in the workshop itself but, in order to be compliant with the current guidance, it must still be clearly identified as the MOT Viewing area, have safe access for the customer and have an unrestricted view of the MOT test being carried out.
Our premises are small so we don’t have room for an MOT viewing area, can we just direct customers to stand at the front of the workshop?
